Autorský koncepčný návrh, libretto, príprava, koordinácia a realizácia hudobno-svetelnej show v jaskyni Lake Shasta Caverns v Kalifornii v USA. Hudbu skomponoval a autorsky vyprodukoval na základe libretta Jonatán Ptastirčák. Návrh a inštaláciu komplexného riešenia svietidiel a ich riadenia realizovala firma Cave Lighting GmbH. Realizácia prebehla vo marci 2025, slávnostné otvorenie pre verejnosť prebehlo 5.-6.4.2025. Special thanks go to Matt, Dave, Sabine and Carlos.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Jan Ptacin
Libretto, lighting design & execution
Jan Ptacin studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia and at the University of Technology in Brno, Czech Republic and scenography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia where he focused on lighting design as part of his doctoral studies. He completed several internships abroad including a traineeship at the Institute of Lighting Design in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is an associate professor and the head of the Department of Scenography at the Theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
Jan Ptacin designed stage and lighting solutions for several opera, drama and contemporary dance productions, performances and events. He is also engaged in the design and planning of architectural buildings, pavilions, interiors and last but not least – caves. His successful projects include stage and lighting design solutions for top Slovak and Czech theatre and opera houses and artists. The cooperation with Cave Lighting company includes multiple projects around the world, e.g. Aggertal Hoehle in Germany, Dachstein Eishoehle in Austria, Demanovska caves in Slovakia or Box Canyon show in Natural Bridge Caverns in Texas.

Jonatan Pastircak
Sound design & execution
Jonatan Pastircak studied music production and sound engineering at the SAE Institute in London. He is currently based in Bratislava, Slovakia, where he works as a music producer, composer and sound engineer. His concert career has taken him to the USA, England, Spain, Germany, Austria, Norway, Poland, Ukraine, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Jonatan Pastircak currently performs under the pseudonym Isama Zing, with which he won the Radiohead Awards Album of the Year by Journalists in 2022. With singer Katarzia, he performs their joint audiovisual show, with which they have also performed at Barcelona’s Sónar, or the renowned audiovisual Prague festival Lunchmeat. He has co-created several audiovisual installations and performances, such as Plain, which was also shown at New York’s Pioneer Works gallery.
